Goals and Objectives

We are a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Nonprofit Association incorporated in Wisconsin, since 2013. Our vision is to mobilize a shared-platform of US-based African diaspora aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and friends, for advocacy, education, peer-to-peer mentorship, and networking through constructive dialogue and collaboration by leveraging our mutual resources for self-development and Africa business and investment advancement.

Our intended focus include socioeconomic growth, investment and trade through social entrepreneurship andsustainable development efforts, particularly, among US-based African Migrants/Diasporas and friends, regardless Citizenship or Nationality, and all passionate participants around the world. We are affiliated with the United Nations Development Program’s Volunteering Initiatives (UNV) and collaborate with other AAE projects in Africa or globally for networking, business development, trade and investment, and peer-to-peer mentorship.

Notable activities

Some of the short and medium term current and apiring activities include collaboration on:

– i) the UN Volunteering Initiative platform in its UNDP and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote awareness and improve youth and underprivileged entrepreneurship projects everywhere, particularly amongst US African Migrants/Diasporas and in Africa. The Association hopes to provide advocacy and support platform in partnership with other local and international Non-Governmental Organizations for skills development and facilitating roles of youth employment and entrepreneurship through volunteerism, consulting, financial, educational and training support facilities.

– ii) Zidisha Micro-financing platform (a US-based 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Nonprofit) on the lending side in support of financing challenges faced by grass-root entrepreneurship through Peer-to-Peer direct fund-raising between lenders and borrowers. The AAE-USA Team has supported so for 8 projects and intent to raise funds to expand on its lending efforts in support of sustainable developmental activities in underserved communities particularly in poor countries in Africa.

– iii) Building membership web platform to recruit and provide Diaspora members with informational resources and network opportunities to enhance their contributions in their own socio-economic growth and to support the advancement and the mission of AAE-USA, Inc.

Primarily, the purpose of this Association is to address some of the major challenges faced by most aspiring African entrepreneurs and other severely underserved communities, especially by engaging the U.S. African Migrant/Diaspora communities and its passionate participants in advocating and providing support facilities through financial, educational, training and consulting resources to encourage and achieve sustainable developments with partnership programs and other developmental tools for grass-root Entrepreneurship.
